About “Two Spare Seats”

“Two Spare Seats” is a campaign launched in early 2009 by Cathie Kavanagh at HandMadeQuilt.org.

“Two Spare Seats” refers to the standing invitation for quilters visiting the Gold Coast to pay a visit to the quilting group who meet on Tuesdays at Cathie’s home.

Visitors who would like to take up Cathie’s invitation can contact her using the form on the HandMadeQuilt.org website.

Quilters are also invited to register their own quilting groups “Two Spare Seats” for quilters who might be visiting their area.

Cathie hopes that the “Two Spare Seats” campaign will eventually help quilters find each other where ever they are in the world.
